LET'S GO TO San Luis OBISpO

Talk about a GIRLS' TRIP! Y'all know I love my Lola & Ivy management team, so when all of the girls get together for drinks, food, travel & laughs... I am in!! We take a trip each year & this time around we went to San Luis Obispo in California. I had no idea what to expect, but this trip was the perfect start to a year full of new travels!!

WHERE WE STAYED:

If yall are headed to San Luis, book your stay at Hotel San Luis Obispo! The hotel is beautiful, the staff was accommodating & the atmosphere matched the vibe of the town perfectly! It was about 20-30 minutes from the airport & right in the middle of town, so everything was walking distance! We were able to get to restaurants, shopping, local downtown activities & more all within a 10 minute walk! We also enjoyed the stunning rooftop upon arrival to have drinks with all of the Lola girls!! For breakfast, they had an assortment of fruit, eggs dishes, coffee, juices, pastries, sides & more ready to go! Everything was delicious!

WHERE WE ATE/DRANK:

On the first night, we walked down to GRANADA BISTRO for dinner. Lola & Ivy had cookies laid out as name tags, which was such a cute touch! The next morning, we drove into Paso Robles to enjoy the wineries! Our first stop was LAW WINERY & let me just say... it was the most PERFECT way to start the day! Stop number two was NINER WINERY & we ended up staying here for so long enjoying the sunshine, wine & girl time! That night, we were treated to an SPARKLE dinner with The Sis Kiss at OX & ANCHOR, right next to the hotel. It was about 20 steps from the front door of the hotel & is perfect for a date night dinner, or a HUGE girls group like we had!

The next morning, we snacked on breakfast at Hotel SLO, then headed to MARFARM for a full day. We got to enjoy the food & drinks they made during our visit! The owner even brought out some homemade casseroles, which was so special! As for our last night in San Luis.. I could go on & on about! I would go back to SLO over & over just to go visit NATE'S ON MARSH! He was hilarious, personable, fun & made the entire dinner such an amazing experience! HIGHLY recommend adding this to your list when planning your San Luis Obispo getaway!! We had an early flight the next day, so we didn't make it to the brunch they had planned for us at BRASSERIE SLO, but we saw that it was adorable & heard the food was amazing!

WHAT WE DID:

Upon arrival, we all met up on the rooftop of Hotel SLO for drinks & caught up with each other. I hadn't seen everyone in sooo long & there were lots of new faces to meet! Later that night we all walked downtown to dinner at Granada Bistro. We took a few wrong turns along the way (whoops) & got to see more of the town's shopping & restaurants in the area!

Day two was for winery tastings & we were sure to hit up LAW & Niner Winery. Both were absolutely stunning & so unique in their own way. Y'all know I love a wine tasting, so this was a perfect day to me! Once we got back, we went to Ox & Anchor with The Sis Kiss for a sparkle-themed dinner with the Lola & Ivy team!

The third day my absolute favorite! It was all such a dream at MarFarm! I would live there if they let me! They offer horseback riding, barre classes, you can meet & pet the animals & the entire atmosphere makes you feel like you are living a mountain-ranch dream! We all rode horses then sat around the fire pit drinking delicious cocktails & enjoyed each other's company, soaking it all in! This is the day that y'all LOVED seeing on my instagram! MARFARM is a MUST when visiting SLO! Not only do they have the most stunning land to enjoy, but it also lets you get a deep breath of fresh air, making the rest of the world seem so far away! They rent out for weddings, large groups perfect for a couples trip, weekend getaways & more! Later that night we walked downtown to go axe throwing at Battle Axe! It was my first time & it was seriously so much fun! After we were done throwing axes, we walked around the Farmer's Market right infront of the stores & shops. They had food cooking, locals selling their goods & people were enjoying the small town atmosphere all night! Shortly after this, we went to dinner at Nate's On Marsh & like I said previously... 10/10! The food was incredible. the decor was so cute & unique & the staff was amazing. Nate even stayed later with us to sit around & chat for a while, which was so special! We learned all about the area, the history of the restaurant & more about the people there. I can't wait to go back!!

I went from never knowing about San Luis Obispo, to wanting to book a trip out there again ASAP! The town was so sweet with lots to do. Everything we did was so unique & enjoyable to do with your girlfriends, significant other, or for a family trip! It's a place that everyone can enjoy, no matter what!

If you have ever been to SLO, let me know your favorite places to eat, drink & be merry while visiting! I'll add them to my list for next time!
